Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia has launched in Japan. Footage is starting to come in as a result, starting with the full Japanese intro below.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia has nearly launched in Japan. To celebrate, all Fire Emblem Heroes players can take advantage of a log-in bonus of five Orbs while logging in until the early hours of May 8.

Special quests are also planned for the same period. By clearing them, you can earn one or more of the Pegasus Sisters who appear in Fire Emblem Echoes.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia was reviewed in this week’s Famitsu. Among four editors, the game earned scores of “9”, “9”, “10”, and “9”. The total was 37 out of 40, the highest review for a Fire Emblem entry in Famitsu.

Much like recent Fire Emblem games, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will have DLC. Nintendo revealed what’s in store for the newest 3DS game today.

Fire Emblem Echoes’ first DLC is planned for April 20 in Japan. First, players can receive a one-time reward of the “Boots” item for free. Other than that, paid DLC is as follows:
