Joe & Mac Returns will be available on Switch next week, according to an eShop listing. Flying Tiger Entertainment will offer the title starting March 14.

Data East originally made Joe & Mac, a platformer, for the arcades and NES. Joe & Mac Returns would end up being an arcade-exclusive.

Flying Tiger Entertainment will be back with another Data East arcade game on Switch this week. SDR: Super Real Darwin, a shooter that debuted way back in 1987, is slated for tomorrow.

Here’s a brief overview:

The inhabitants of the planet Lakya unwittingly unleash the planet’s life force known as Evol. As the released Evol drifts from planet Lakya, it is received by the inhabitants of the nearby planet Cokyo; the people of Cokyo initiate the Shlohe project, a plan to use their captured Evol to develop advanced biological ships and weapons to invade planet Lakya. The inhabitants of Lakya retaliate the Cokyo invasion by using their own evolving fighter ships.

Flying Tiger Entertainment announced today that it will be publishing another Data East arcade game on Switch. Starting November 8, Night Slashers will be available on the eShop.

Here’s an overview, along with a trailer:

After it was originally scheduled for release earlier this month, Johnny Turbo’s Arcade: Heavy Burger arrived on the Switch eShop on Thursday. Check out some footage below.

Over the past few months, Flying Tiger Entertainment has been bringing Data East arcade games to Switch. Interestingly, for its next release, the studio appears to be doing something different.

The North American eShop is showing the new title “Heavy Burger”. Rather than porting over another one of Data East’s releases, this appears to be something that’s somewhat original. Not much is known at present as the eShop listing only has the following line: “Team battle mashup across a Retro Arcade of iconic Data East games for a super serving of Heavy Burger!”

Johnny Turbo’s Arcade: Heavy Burger is due out on October 4 for $14.99. We have some screenshots below.
