Hamster today announced the latest release in its Arcade Archives series for Switch. Starting on July 2, P-47 will be available via the eShop.

P-47 originally debuted in 1988. In the Jaleco and NMK shoot ’em up game, players take down various vehicles such as aircraft, tanks, ships, and other forms of vehicles while collecting power-ups along the way. Levels and bosses require a particular weapon.

Arcade Archives P-47 will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

Hamster has given the usual heads up regarding its latest Arcade Archives game for Switch. This week, the console will be getting Wiz, a platformer made by Seibu Kaihatsu in 1985.

A new live stream from Famitsu offers up footage from the recently-released Arcade Archives VS. Baseball and Arcade Archives Wiz, which launches worldwide on Switch tomorrow. View the full recording below.

Hamster announced a pair of additional titles for its Arcade Archives series during a live stream today. Sunsoft’s 1982 title Kangaroo along with Jaleco’s P-47 The Freedom Fighter from 1988 are both now confirmed for Switch. Specific release dates have not yet been provided.

VS. Baseball

Hamster has announced this week’s Arcade Archives game for Switch. On June 19, VS. Baseball will be arriving worldwide.

Nintendo originally made the baseball title for the arcades back in 1984. Although similar to its NES counterpart, this one has more graphics and speech.

Pricing for Arcade Archives VS. Baseball is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Super Punch-Out!!

During a live stream on Niconico today, Hamster unveiled its latest plans for the Arcade Archives series.

First, two more Nintendo games have been revealed: Super Punch-Out!! and VS. Baseball. Neither one has a release date yet, but both should be arriving in the weeks and months ahead.

It’s also been announced that Seibu Kaihatsu is joining the Arcade Archives series. The company’s first games will be Wiz, Zero Team, and Raiden. Again, there are no release dates just yet.

Thanks to HAMSTER Corporation, tons of retro classics have made their way to Switch and other platforms. Now, with Sunset Riders galloping into the lineup, the company has now pushed 100 titles out to the Switch and had this to say about the occasion:

Hamster has announced that it will release Sunset Riders as its latest Arcade Archives title for Switch. It will launch worldwide tomorrow, June 11.

Sunset Riders originally came to arcades in 1991. Konami was behind the American Old West-based release, which has players experiencing run-and-gun gameplay.

Pricing for Arcade Archives Sunset Riders is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.
