Amazon: $11 off Hyrule Warriors

Hyrule Warriors is one of those Wii U games that has managed to hold its value pretty well. Despite having launched in September, there haven’t been a whole lot of major sales.
You can at least save a bit of cash on Hyrule Warriors by ordering the game from Amazon
. It’s dropped to $48.98, which is $10 off the normal asking price.

Hyrule Warriors Boss Pack comes to North America on March 12

Hyrule Warriors’ next piece of downloadable content has been dated for North America. According to the game’s official website, the “Boss Pack” is slated for March 12.
In case you missed yesterday’s Japanese news, here’s an overview as to what’s included:
Boss Challenge – Challenge yourself in relentless battles against giant bosses to unlock new costumes for Link, Zelda, and Lana.
Ganon’s Fury – Play as Ganon, rain chaos and destruction upon the battlefield, and unlock new costumes for Ganondorf and Cia.
Pricing for the Boss Pack is set at $2.99. It should be free to those who purchased the season pass.

Hyrule Warriors update 1.6.0 update also due out next week, details

Koei Tecmo isn’t just bringing out the new Ganon Pack for Hyrule Warriors next week. Update 1.6.0 is also on the way, which brings about the following:
Max level raised
New mixture potions added
New medals added
Challenge mode expanded
Score recording function added
Challenge scenarios added
Bug that extends load times when entering battles fixed
This update and the new Ganon DLC are due out on February 26 in Japan.

Hyrule Warriors DLC Ganon Pack coming to Japan on February 26

New Hyrule Warriors DLC is coming to Japan next week. On February 26, players will be able to purchase the Ganon Pack.
The DLC features a Boss Challenge mode, where you defeat the game’s big bosses for high scores. It’s possible to obtain costumes for Lana, Link, and Zelda as rewards.
Additionally, there’s a Ganon Play Mode. Players take on the role of Ganon and earn high scores by destroying the battlefield. There are costumes for Ganondorf and Cia as rewards.
Pricing for the DLC is set at 500 yen. It’s included free for those who bought the “all-in-one” pack.

In this almost two-hour podcast you can expect to hear excerpts from all of the soundtracks that made the list with commentary from myself and those who sent in their thoughts. The latest update for Hyrule Warriors brings the game up to version 1.5.0. If you’re interested in file sizes, you might be interested to hear that the download requires 380MB. Hyrule Warriors’ new update is highlighted by the addition of the Majora’s Mask Pack.
