Mario Kart 8

One of the new Mario Kart 8 DLC tracks appears to have a reference to the Kung Fu Panda movie. You’ll notice that just before the race kicks off, there’s a poster on the wall of Lakitu – complete with the “Kung Fu Lakitu” name. Pretty neat, right?

Here’s a look at the Easter egg in video form:

GameXplain has uploaded several videos showcasing Mario Kart 8’s next round of DLC. We’ve included all of the new footage below.

If you’re interested in seeing how quickly a race on the Baby Park course can finish with 200cc, then be sure to take a look at the video below. It goes by quickly – just as expected.

Nintendo of Europe published a new press release for next week’s Mario Kart 8 DLC.

Perhaps the most notable piece of information is that Baby Park will be 7 laps long. We also have official English names for the new courses: Animal Crossing, Big Blue, Super Bell Subway, and Wild Woods. Other than that, the new vehicles are Bone Rattler (Bike), City Tripper (Bike), Streetle (Kart), and P-Wing (Kart).
