Though the 3DS version of Smash has been out for some time now, I think it’s funny in a weird Nintendo way that so much effort is being put into censoring the roster for those who decided to wait. Today’s screenshot is a look at one of the secret fighter’s reveal cinematic:

In the Wii U version, you can customize additional rules from the beginning of the game. Here are the pictures displayed for Stock Time Limit, Team Attack, Pause Function, SD Penalty, Damage Display, and Score Display. You can almost hear Fox’s cry in the picture displayed for SD Penalty settings.

Super Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai published a new column in this week’s issue of Famitsu. That was a bit of a surprise, as Sakurai only tends to write columns on a bi-weekly basis.

In any case, numerous topics about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS were once again discussed. Sakurai commented on why the 3DS version launched before the Wii U game as well as changes in Final Smashes. He also shared a tidbit about one of the unlockable stages in the 3DS version.
