Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is just about a month away on Switch – the game will launch on September 20. Today, Level-5 published a new Japanese trailer as well as a commercial for the game, which you can watch below:

 

Bandai Namco and Level-5 have provided a bunch of screenshots from the upcoming Switch version of Ni no Kuni. We’ve rounded up the images below.

Ni no Kuni launches for Switch on September 20.

All sorts of developers have stepped in over the past couple of years to port games to Switch. One such company is Engine Software. The team has helped bring several titles to Nintendo’s console, including The Caligula Effect: Overdose, Into the Breach, and Little Nightmares.

Next up from Engine Software is Ni no Kuni. It’s been confirmed that the studio is specifically behind that version of the game. On its website, Engine Software states that it is “proud to announce we are working with Bandai-Namco and Level-5 to bring their classic tale: Ni no Kuni – Wrath of the White Witch to the Nintendo Switch.”

Ni no Kuni will be available for Switch on September 20.

Following the original leak a few days ago, Bandai Namco has officially announced Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for Switch. The RPG will launch on September 20.

As previously mentioned, Ni no Kuni for Switch will be more along the lines of a port from the PlayStation 3 version. Other platforms will be receiving a “Remastered” version with improved resolution and performance. The Switch version will run at 720p and 30 frames per second.

Just ahead of E3 2019, several Bandai Namco announcements have leaked. One of these is related to Switch.

Bandai Namco is bringing the Level-5 RPG Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch to new platforms, including Switch. A remaster is in the works that will provide a higher resolution and enhanced performance on other platforms, but the Switch version appears to be a standard release.
