PDP has sent out new photos of the Metal Mario, Zero Suit Samus, and Toad PDP Wired Fight Pads for Wii U and Wii. Check them out in the gallery below.

PDP has a couple of more “Fight Pad” controllers on the way. The latest two, as revealed through GameStop listings, are based on Zero Suit Samus and Toad.

All Fight Pads from PDP plug into the Wii Remote and work with the Wii U and Wii. They support games that make use of the Classic Controller/Classic Controller Pro in addition to most Virtual Console games.

GameStop has the Zero Suit Samus and Toad Fight Pads listed for a September 15 release. The Metal Mario controller, which we heard about late last month via an Amazon UK listing, has the same launch date on GameStop’s site.

A listing on Amazon UK has been discovered for the “Metal Mario 30th Anniversary Controller”. This can be used for both the Wii U and Wii.

Like the PDP Wired Fight Pads, this new Nintendo-licensed controller plugins into the Wii Remote. It works with games that support the Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro along with most Virtual Console titles.

Amazon UK lists a tentative October 30 release date for the Metal Mario 30th Anniversary Controller. There’s a £20.70 price as well.

Four new Wired Fight Pads have just been announced by PDP, coming in 2015 we will see four new characters; Link, Samus, Donkey Kong, and Wario.

The leading third-party manufacturer of video game accessories to release a second wave of Nintendo GameCube-inspired controllers for Wii U in early 2015.

Burbank, CA – 12/3/2014 – PDP is proud to announce that four fan-favorite characters are joining the lineup for the Wired Fight Pad for Wii U, a new addition to the Classic Controller line inspired by the original Nintendo GameCube controller.
Unlocking with the second wave: Link, Samus, Donkey Kong, and Wario! Each of these characters brings a deep history and strong personality to the Wired Fight Pad.

The Wired Fight Pad is licensed by Nintendo and designed for use with the Wii and Wii U consoles. The Wired Fight Pad plugs directly into the Wii Remote External Extension Connector. Players can use it for Wii and Wii U games that support the Classic Controller, the Classic Controller Pro, as well as some of Nintendo’s Virtual Console games.

The Wired Fight Pad line also features fan-favorite Nintendo characters such as Mario, Yoshi, Princess Peach, and Luigi – All with a shape inspired by the original Nintendo GameCube controller.

The second wave of the Wired Fight Pad will be available in early 2015 with an SRP of $24.99.

PDP has another four “Fight Pad” controllers planned for Wii U.

The new variations include Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, and Wario themes. Each is given a tentative February 20 release date by Canadian retailer Video Games Plus. They’re all priced at $25.

Mario, Yoshi, and Princess Peach PDP Fight Pads are the first wave of controllers from PDP.

Performance Designed Products – in partnership with Nintendo – is developing the “Wired Fight Pad”, a new line of Classic Controller that takes inspiration from the GameCube controller.

The Wired Fight Pad is compatible with the Wii U as well as the original Wii. It plugs directly into the Wiimote’s extension connector and can be used with games that support the Classic Controller, the Classic Controller Pro, and some Virtual Console games. Mario, Yoshi, and Princess Peach are among the fan-favorite characters featured by the Wired Fight Pad.

PDP will release its product this holiday season for $24.99.
