Just in case you were wondering, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze doesn’t run naturally at 1080p. Nintendo has clarified that the game is native 720p (at 60 frames per second by the way), though is upscaled to the higher resolution.

– Rambi the Rhino returns in select levels
– Enguarde the Swordfish is nowhere to be found
– New zipline stages
– One boss battle: simple timing-based fight against a giant anthropomorphic viking seal sliding on his belly along a half-pipe
– Another boss: sorcerous owl, has seven unique attacks
– Chase the owl through three arenas
– Post-game Hard Mode confirmed
– Time Attack: speedrun stage replay variant
– Post best time for each Time Attack challenge to online leaderboards
– Compare scores with friends and the community
