A big presentation was held for the Senran Kagura series a few hours ago. All sorts of news and announcements were shared, including an update on Shinobi Refle and the newly-revealed Peach Ball.

Following up on that, Famitsu spoke with series producer Kenichiro Takaki about the various titles in its latest magazine. Takai stated the following about the two Switch titles:

On Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura

A love adventure game with a different taste and uses HD rumble. At first it’ll be Asuka only, but I’d like to add several more characters next.

On Peach Ball: Senran Kagura

This is something I’ve always wanted to do. I wanted to play something that will let me feel when the ball touches breasts. I want to play pinball on a woman’s body.

Since there’s a lot to learn for pinball, I want to make it something easy to play.

The pinball stage will come in a light and shadow, as we’ve been working on the concept that will be something along the lines of a “bright attraction park” on one end and a “slightly suspicious attraction park at night” on the other.

During a special Senran Kagura livestream held today, some more information was revealed about Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura. The game will launch in Japan sometime this year. It’ll be available only on the eShop for 1,000 Yen. The stream also showed the game’s opening cinematic and some gameplay footage, which you can watch below.

We haven’t seen much of Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura since it was announced during a Nintendo Direct earlier this year. Next month, that will be changing.

The “Senran Kagura New Title Presentation 2017” will take place on August 1. It will feature the announcement of new title(s), as well as the latest information on Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura.

You’ll be able to watch the presentation on YouTube at the following times:

– 2 AM PT
– 5 AM ET
– 10 AM in the UK
– 11 AM in Europe

This week’s issue of Famitsu features an interview with Senran Kagura series producer Kenichiro Takaki. In it, Takai talks a bit about Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura, which was announced for Switch last week.

Here’s a recap of what Takai shared with Famitsu, courtesy of Gematsu:

– HD Rumble is a particularly fascinating feature of Nintendo Switch
– I expect that we’ll be able to do various things that we couldn’t do with the rumble function before
– As for what kind of things we’ll be able to do in Shinobi Refle using HD rumble, right now I’ll leave that to your imagination
– We’re basically aiming for a pure and wholesome Senran Kagura, and our main objective is to convey the feelings of the characters through HD rumble
– The story will be charmingly stupid
– You’ll be able to enjoy a different story than before
– As an affordably priced, download-only game, this is a concept title based on HD Rumble
– Asuka will be the only character to appear
– Asuka’s graphics are being rebuilt from the ground up
– I want to beautifully express the portrayal of light despite its anime style
– We’re considering making use of Switch features other than HD rumble
– Switch is considerably easy to develop for
– Other titles being considered that use Switch’s features
