Timberline Games has announced that a new update is now available for the Red Lantern that includes some new content and many bug fixes. Here are the full patch notes:

The Red Lantern, which previously came to Switch through the eShop, is now getting a physical release on Switch. Limited Run Games is in charge of distribution.
Only a standard edition is in the works – a collector’s edition is not planned. Fans will be able to place a pre-order for the physical version of The Red Lantern later this week.

The Red Lantern has been updated to version 1.0.4 on Switch. Aside from implementing improvements, the game has also received a number of bug fixes.

Timberline Studio has set a release date for The Red Lantern, its dog-sledding narrative survival game. It’ll be out digitally via the eShop on October 22, the developer announced today.

In the Nindies Showcase presentation back in March, one of the most talked-about titles which was announced back then was The Red Lantern, a rogue-lite narrative game about sled dogs. The game was initially supposed to be released sometime this year; unfortunately that won’t be the case anymore. Developer Timberline Studio announced on Twitter that the game has been pushed back to 2020.
