Tonight, Nintendo published a bunch of different videos for Nintendo Labo. We also received a ton of new footage. With that, there’s something particularly neat that has been shown with the Toy-Con Motorbike.

You can actually use what Nintendo is calling the Toy-Con Scanner to scan an object and then add that shape to the terrain. This is demonstrated in the video below. You can scan anything – be it a hand or even the Joy-Con itself.

The official Nintendo Labo websites updated today with a bunch of new footage showing off the various games that can be played. We’ve rounded up all of the clips from the Japanese site below (due to the quality being higher).

December was a great month for Mega Man announcements, and Switch owners in particular. Capcom closed its announcement presentation by revealing Mega Man 11. Prior to that, the company confirmed that both Mega Man Legacy Collections will be coming to Switch, and all Mega Man X titles will be released on the system as well.

Ratings from Australia suggest that the Mega Man X games will be brought to Switch as two separate packages. Today, Mega Man X Legacy Collection and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 were both rated by the official Classification Board.

Nintendo has posted three new trailers for Nintendo Labo on its Japanese YouTube channel. The first servers as a general introduction, while the other two are for the kits specifically. All three videos can be found below.

Monster Hunter XX - Nintendo Switch

Monster Hunter on Nintendo platforms is somewhat of an unknown factor at the moment. Capcom did release Monster Hunter XX on Switch last year, which was originally a 3DS title. But Monster Hunter World, the latest game which is actually brand new, can’t be found on Switch.

Capcom president Haruhiro Tsujimoto addressed the situation surrounding Monster Hunter and Switch in an interview with Toyo Keizai. The discussion primarily focused on Monster Hunter World, but there was a bit of talk surrounding Nintendo’s console as well.

The Wii game de Blob is coming to Switch, THQ Nordic has announced. This had been previously rumored through retailer listings.

de Blob is launching on Switch later this year. THQ Nordic is working with Blitworks on the remastered version.

Here’s more information about de Blob:

In a series of messages posted on Twitter, PlatinumGames’ Hideki Kamiya spoke about Bayonetta and Nintendo’s involvement. He was a director on the first game, contributed to the second title, and may have some involvement with the third entry.

Kamiya recalled how, originally, Bayonetta 2 was considered for multiple platforms when it was in development as part of a collaboration with SEGA. However, the game was put on hold because of “circumstances” at the company. After Nintendo stepped in, PlatinumGames was able to finish development, and the rights are with the Big N and SEGA. Nintendo actually allowed the Japanese voice track created for the Wii U version of Bayonetta to be included in the PC version.
