Thus far, there have been two NES Remix games. Both, obviously, only include titles from the NES era.

But how about something like SNES Remix? Or GBA Remix? This is actually something that director Koichi Hayashida is open to.

Hayashida told IGN in a recent interview:

“Well personally I’m a fan of those games, and I like them a lot. If there’s a big enough outpouring of support for these titles, it’s something I’d like to take a look at.”

“Well, personally, I have a large desire to explore that very idea (Super Nintendo/Game Boy Advance in future Remix games). But it really harkens back to the answer I just gave. Does the marketplace want it or need it?”

“If we get a big enough cry for that, with a lot of people saying, ‘Hey, we’d love to see more of these perhaps for the SNES, Game Boy or Game Boy Advance,’ then it would be something we can take a look at.”

A few details have leaked out of Famitsu regarding The Great Ace Attorney (otherwise known as Dai Gyakuten Saiban).

The game stars Ryunosuke Naruhodo, who is the ancestor of Ryuichi Naruhodo. It’s worth noting that Naruhodo is the name for Wright in Japanese.

Shu Takumi will be directing this new Ace Attorney project. Shintaro Kojima, who previously worked on E.X. Troopers and the Monster Hunter series, is producing.

Bandai Namco has announced a sequel to Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. Aptly named “Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2”, the game will be released later this year on Wii U, 3DS, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

Here’s the game’s official overview:

Following the colorful characters and world of the PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures animated series, PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures 2 will feature Pac, Spiral and Cylindria in an all-new storyline as they defend PacWorld from the ghoulish army of Lord Betrayus. Players will be able to explore the lands of PacWorld far beyond the bustling streets of Pacopolis and the Netherworld through the depths of the ocean floor and into space.

In order to defeat the havoc-causing ghosts, Pac will need to do what he does best… EAT! Chomping down on the various Power Berries will give Pac a much needed boost to fight back against his enemies. Utilizing the many types of Power Berries from the Tree of Life, Pac will be able to transform into many different and exciting versions of himself, including enhanced versions of returning powers such as Fire Pac and Ice Pac and epic new transformations including the gigantic PacZilla. Pac will also be able to pilot one of many vehicles seen in the show including the Lemon Rocket and Pacerchini, to help his cause to save the world.

Cylindria and Spiral also join in for the action, allowing players to take control of the Pac’s friends in special fast-paced on-rails levels. The two best friends will also be able to assist Pac with a helping hand when players find themselves in tough situations.

First screenshots from Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 can be found above.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call will be released in the west, Square Enix announced today. The game will be available in North America and Europe later this year. Check out the game’s debut English trailer above.

REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nintendo is offering players the opportunity to nearly double the amount of content they can play in the Mario Golf: World Tour game, which launches May 2 for the portable Nintendo 3DS system. With 10 courses and 126 holes (an amount equivalent to previous games in the franchise), extensive multiplayer modes as well as regional and worldwide tournaments, the main game offers plenty of content for golf fans already. The DLC opens up further challenging courses for players to enjoy as they test their skills (broadband Internet access is required).

“We’re letting fans expand their experience with Mario Golf: World Tour,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Some players might be content hitting the links on the numerous courses already included with the game, while others will appreciate the option of being able to add to their fairway fun with new courses and characters.”
