Touhou Spell Bubble gains gains new update on Switch

This week, Taito provided the rhythm puzzle game Touhou Spell Bubble with a new update that adds significant features.
Online functionality is now a part of the game. In Ranked Match mode, players can climb the global rankings by earning rank points through victory in online battles with players from all around the world. There’s also Private Match mode, which allows players to practice online with friends to hone their skills without risk of losing rank points. Additionally, Ranked Match Records allow players to view various play statistics and Titles to show off their skills to other players. And lastly, two types of leaderboards have been added to Challenge Mode.
To celebrate the update news, Touhou Spell Bubble is hosting a sale on the Switch eShop. Fans can save 50 percent off the normal price. Typically, the game costs $54.99 / £49.99 / €49.99. Note that the sale lasts until October 23.
Touhou Spell Bubble can be purchased digitally for Switch via the eShop. It first released in February 2020 in Japan, followed by the west in October of that year.
