Touken Ranbu Musou unveils Tsurumaru Kuninaga

Tsurumaru Kuninaga was today unveiled as the captain of the fourth unit in Touken Ranbu Musou. Publishers DMM Games and Nitroplus, along with developers Omega Force and Ruby Party, announced the news through the game’s official website.
Tsurumaru Kuninaga will be accompanied by two other units in Touken Ranbu Musou, who are teased in the silhouette above. Those characters are presumed to be Ookurikara and Shokudaikiri Mitsutada.
We’ve had a few other character confirmations over the past few weeks as well. During the initial announcement, Mikazuki Munechika was shared as a leader of the first unit, who will be accompanied by Tonbokiri and Sengo Muramasa. Kasen Kanesada is handling the second unit, with Hyuuga Masamune, Ichigo Hitofuri, and Namazuo Toushirou providing support. And last week, we heard about Heshikiri Hasebe, who are thought to be Tomoegata Naginata and Yagen Toushirou. Five units and fifteen characters are planned.
Our next update for Touken Ranbu Musou should come on September 8 as the last captain and accompanying characters should be announced then. We’ll post the news right here on the site as soon as it’s announced.
Touken Ranbu Musou is in development for Switch in Japan, but a release window has not been provided. The game has also not been confirmed outside of Japan.
