Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] announced

At Evo 2019 today, Arc System Works, Aksys Games, and French Bread made a brand new announcement. Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] is on the way, the three companies revealed.

Platforms were not officially confirmed. That being said, this was previously leaked through a rating in Taiwan back in May, which indicated a Switch release.

Here’s the full announcement:

Aksys Games in conjunction with Arc System Works revealed Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] at the EVO Championship Series this weekend in Las Vegas. The next installment in the Under Night In-Birth 2D fighting game saga is coming to North America. Developed by acclaimed 2D fighting game studio French Bread, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] will feature a new playable character and updates to the game which include nearly a thousand balance changes and new moves. A demo of the game will be available at special events.

“The 2D fighting community has been incredibly supportive, and we are as excited about this new chapter in the Under Night In-Birth series as they are,” says Akibo Shieh, founder and CEO of Aksys Games. “With the introduction of a new character, the entire game has been carefully rebalanced and perfected for the greatest possible anime fighting experience to date.”
