SEGA announced a few new 3D Classics earlier this week. 3D Streets of Rage 2 is the first out of the bunch and is coming in July. 3D Gunstar Heroes and 3D Sonic The Hedgehog 2 are launching in August and September respectively.<\/p>\n

SEGA hasn’t provided much information about 3D Gunstar Heroes and 3D Sonic The Hedgehog 2, but we do have a couple of details about 3D Streets of Rage 2. Famitsu<\/a><\/b> reports that the game will support simultaneous two-player multiplayer via local play, though both users will need a copy. Also included are\u00a0new systems like a mode called “Quartet” which allows you to use all four characters in sequence when playing alone.<\/p>\n

Japan is getting 3D Streets of Rage 2 very soon. It’s slated for April 28, and will carry an 800 yen price point.<\/p>\n
