Today, Niantic officially revealed the feature, which will be called &#8220;Buddy Pokemon&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>As Niantic puts it, Buddy Pokemon lets users choose their favorite Pokemon to open it up for in-game rewards and experience. You&#8217;ll see the creature walking with your Trainer avatar on your profile screen. Bonuses include Candy for walking together. You will be able to pick your favorite Pok\u00e9mon from your collection to become your buddy, opening up unique in-game rewards and experiences. Buddy Pok\u00e9mon will appear alongside your Trainer avatar on your profile screen, adding helpful bonuses such as awarding Candy for walking together. You\u2019ll also have the ability to change your Buddy Pok\u00e9mon at any time.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve got a lot more in the works this fall.
