At the Digital Dragons event in Poland this week, Hirokazu Yasuhara hosted a special presentation. Yasuhara was a designer and director on various Sonic games.<\/p>\n

We’ve already seen early Sonic the Hedgehog 2 map sketches<\/strong><\/a>, including a look at the cut Genocide City level. But as it turns out, those weren’t the only images Yasuhara shared. One shows that Sonic 2 was originally planned to have a time travel theme while another couple show design sketches from before Sonic 1.
