Nippon Ichi published a new wave of details and screenshots for The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince today. The latest information covers Wolf abilities as well as some of the systems in the game. We’ve rounded up everything below, courtesy of Gematsu<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Adventure of a Wolf Transformed into a Princess, and a Blind Prince<\/p>\n

– Play as a wolf monster that can transform into a \u201cprincess\u201d
\n– In order to heal the blind eyes of the prince, the wolf must guide him by the hand to the depths of the forest to reach the witch\u2019s house
\n– Dangerous monsters and complex challenges await
\n– Use the \u201cprincess\u201d and \u201cwolf\u201d forms properly, and head towards the witch alongside the prince
\n– Wolf’s strength lets you break normally unbreakable obstacles
\n– The \u201cprincess\u201d can hold the prince\u2019s hand and cooperate with him<\/p>\n

Various Challenges<\/p>\n

– You’ll find different obstacles in the forest
\n– These include obstacles that can only be broken by the wolf\u2019s strength, switches that can only be pushed by the princess\u2019 hands, and footholds that react to weight
\n– Large variety of mechanisms in the forest
\n– Use your wit and ability to transform to find your way past these challenges
\n– A foothold that goes high and low in response to the weight of what stands atop it\u2014like a weight machine
\n– The light of the moon shines in through the clouds; untransform under the light and return to your original monster form<\/p>\n

Requests for the Prince<\/p>\n

– If the wolf is in \u201cprincess\u201d form, it can asks \u201crequests\u201d of the prince as a mechanism for solving puzzles
\n– Two types of “requests”: \u201cHold (or Drop)\u201d and \u201cWalk\u201d
\n– Use these to cooperate with the prince and move forward
\n– Only the prince is able is able to hold things
\n– When he is holding something, you can grab his hand to guide him, or request that he \u201cWalk\u201d and bring what he is holding to the target location
\n– If you find a fire lantern, you can burn obstacles and light up your surroundings
\n– The wolf (princess) is bad with fire, so only the prince can hold it<\/p>\n

The Strange Creatures You Will Meet in the Forest<\/p>\n

– Forest has many man-eating monsters
\n– Proceed with caution in order for the prince and princess to avoid being attacked
\n– At the very beginning of the forest, you\u2019ll meet a small creature with tufty fur; it moves by crawling on the ground
\n– A frog-like creature lives where many mushrooms grow in the forest; it jumps up and down while moving
\n– Bird-like creatures exist in the caves; they are always airborne, and may attack from overhead<\/p>\n

Flowers and the Prince, and the Witch\u2019s Tale<\/p>\n

– Small flower gardens show up in the forest
\n– If you give one of the flowers blooming there to the prince as a present, the prince will gradually tell you of the \u201cWitch Fairy Tale\u201d passed down to him in his kingdom
\n– This is an optional collection element of the game
\n– If you gather all the flowers, the forest witch\u2019s past will become clear… perhaps
\n– The witch\u2019s story is added to the \u201cAlbum\u201d on the menu screen
