Atlus published the latest details and screenshots for Etrian Odyssey X today. We learn more about the Hero Class, NPCs, and more. We’ve rounded everything up below, courtesy of Gematsu<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

New “Hero” Class<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Vanguard: Attack and Defense Type
\n– Soldier who fights with a sword and shield, and never gives up even when in critical condition
\n– Class has many skills that assist party members and strong wave attacks unseeming of a single person
\n– Force Burst: Brave Heart: Drastically increases your afterimage rate of occurrence and the total attack power of your afterimages for three turns
\n– Force Break: Miracle Edge: Performs a close-range cut attack on all enemies, then recovers the HP of all allies beyond the maximum value
\n– Skill: Mirage Sword: Performs a distant cut attack on one enemy, and has a high probability of creating an afterimage
\n– Skill: Regiment Rave: At the end of your turn, performs a close-range cut and fire (combined attribute) attack on one enemy. (The more damage your party dealt to the target this turn, the higher the power of the Regiment Rave attack.)
\n– Skill Tree (Novice)<\/p>\n

The Hero Battles Using Afterimages<\/strong><\/p>\n

– By learning the passive skill \u201cTraces,\u201d when the Hero attacks an enemy using an attack skill, there is a fixed probability an afterimage will appear in party slot
\n– The Hero attacks with Brave Wide; after the damage has been dealt, the afterimage of a Hero will appear in the party slot
\n– The turn following the afterimage\u2019s appearance, the afterimage will use Brave Wide again
\n– The turn following an afterimage\u2019s appearance, it will attack using the attack skill that was used when it appeared, and when that turn ends, the afterimage will disappear
\n– A characteristic of the Hero class is cooperating with both party members and afterimages
\n– But that is not the only effect of an afterimage
\n– There are various methods in combination with skills in terms of what you can do with the afterimages that appear<\/p>\n

New adventurers<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Over 20 NPCs will appear<\/p>\n

Marco (voiced by Kengo Kawanishi)<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Intelligent adventurer with a sharp, observant eye He formed a guild with Oliver
\n– Unlike Oliver, who tends to run wild, he is the thoughtful type who moves through labyrinths with caution<\/p>\n

Oliver (voiced by Yoshihisa Kawahara)<\/strong><\/p>\n

– An adventurer with a well-trained body
\n– He formed a guild with Marco
\n– He came to Lemuria seeking its treasure. He has a lively and sportive personality<\/p>\n

Rob (voiced by Soma Saito)<\/strong><\/p>\n

– A young man of little words who came to Lemuria as an adventurer and gives off an intense aura
\n– He seems to worry about Charis<\/p>\n

Charis (voiced by Shizuka Ishigami)<\/strong><\/p>\n

– A cheerful and bright woman who came to Lemuria as an adventurer
\n– She is a tank, but her abilities still have a lot more to grow
\n– She also seems to worry about her relationship with Rob<\/p>\n

Leo (voiced by Ayumu Murase)<\/strong><\/p>\n

– A boy who came to Lemuria as an adventurer
\n– He has a gloomy, somewhat blunt manner of speech and conduct
\n– He explores the dangerous woodlands on his own, but there seems to be a reason related to his past for that<\/p>\n

Birgitta (voiced by Maaya Uchida)<\/strong><\/p>\n

– A novice adventurer who you meet at the beginning of your adventure
\n– She gets in trouble when shes goes into the forest to gather medicinal herbs, and asks for your help<\/p>\n

Labryinth No. 2: Cerulean Woodlands<\/strong><\/p>\n

– The Cerulean Woodlands is where you meet Oliver and Marco<\/p>\n

First-Print Purchase Bonus<\/strong><\/p>\n

– First-print purchases for Etrian Odyssey X will include the “New Adventurers Illustration Pack” DLC, which contains five class illustrations from guest illustrators:<\/p>\n
