Mojang is starting to roll out the Update Aquatic for Minecraft. It’ll be going live on Switch when it’s updated to the Bedrock version on June 21, with the Wii U version to follow.<\/p>\n

The Update Aquatic will be delivered in two phases, each with different features. Phase One contains the following:<\/p>\n

• Nine Ocean Biomes (frozen, deep frozen, cold, deep cold, lukewarm, deep lukewarm, normal, deep normal, warm)<\/li>\n
• Underwater Ravines & caves<\/li>\n
• Sea grass<\/li>\n
• Sea pickle (w\/ illumination! Up to 4 in a block – only light up underwater)<\/li>\n
• Shipwrecks<\/li>\n
• Treasure chests (in ruins, shipwrecks)<\/li>\n
• Ruins<\/li>\n
• Swimming<\/li>\n
• Treasure Map<\/li>\n
• Buried Treasure<\/li>\n
• Heart of the Sea in buried treasure chests (non-active)<\/li>\n
• Trident<\/li>\n
• Trident enchantment<\/li>\n
• Stripped Logs<\/li>\n
• Buttons, Trap Doors, Pressure Plates with variation<\/li>\n
• Carved Pumpkins<\/li>\n
• Floating Items<\/li>\n
• Boat Polish (smoother control)<\/li>\n
• 8 new achievements<\/li>\n
• Water has a completely new look and increased visibility while underwater<\/li>\n
• Prismarine Stairs and Slabs<\/li>\n
• New swimming animation while sprinting in water<\/li>\n
