The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have put out an announcement covering today’s Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu \/ Eevee news. We have the rundown on Mega Evolution, Vermilion City, and Team Rocket. Find the PR below, along with new screenshots. <\/p>\n

The Pok\u00e9mon Company International and Nintendo announced new details about Mega Evolution and much more in the highly anticipated Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu! and Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Eevee! games, releasing later this year on the Nintendo Switch system. Both games are designed for players taking their first steps into the Pok\u00e9mon video game world as well as longtime fans wanting a new way to play Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t Just Evolve\u2014Mega Evolve
\nIn Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu! and Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Eevee!, players will be able to Mega Evolve a Pok\u00e9mon once per battle if they have a Key Stone and the Mega Stone corresponding to that specific Pok\u00e9mon. Mega Evolution, known as \u201cthe Evolution that transcends Evolution,\u201d momentarily unleashes the energy within a Pok\u00e9mon and can only be accomplished when a strong bond exists between the Pok\u00e9mon and its Trainer. The first three Pok\u00e9mon that fans will be able to Mega Evolve during their adventure will be Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.<\/p>\n

Explore Iconic Kanto Region Location Vermilion City
\nPok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu! and Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Eevee! will bring players to a variety of interesting locations in the Kanto region, including Vermilion City, where the luxury cruise liner the S.S. Anne docks once a year. In the Vermilion City Pok\u00e9mon Gym, players can battle Gym Leader Lt. Surge, who is also known as the Lightning Lieutenant.<\/p>\n

Here Comes Team Rocket!
\nTeam Rocket, a nefarious organization set on using the world\u2019s Pok\u00e9mon in despicable plots to make money, is another example of the diverse cast of characters that players will encounter in Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu! and Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Eevee! This includes the most famous members of Team Rocket\u2014Jessie, James, and Meowth!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n \t\t\n\t\t\t\t
