Qureate today opened the official website for its princess escape adventure title Prison Princess. Thanks to that, we have details and screenshots pertaining to the game’s story, system, and characters.<\/p>\n

Story<\/strong><\/p>\n

The continent of Maygard.<\/p>\n

The peace and prosperity brought about by the two kingdoms of \u201cAria Zaza\u201d and \u201cZanji Zed\u201d lasted countless years.<\/p>\n

That golden era is now facing its downfall.<\/p>\n

The Demon King, released from his seal, has turned our continent to a sea of flames.<\/p>\n

As cities were invaded one after another, a man appeared carrying the blood of ancient heroes\u2026 Oh Brave Hero.<\/p>\n

During his journey, the hero was met with grave misfortune and perished.<\/p>\n

The Demon King\u2019s minions snuck into the capital cities of the two kingdoms to kidnap their precious princesses. All hope seemed to have been lost\u2026<\/p>\n

However, it seems our hero is not wholly dead after all.<\/p>\n

Even as a spirit, the hero is determined to remain in this world, and has set off to save the princesses from danger.<\/p>\n

Now nothing more than a phantom, can the hero succeed in rescuing the kidnapped princesses?!<\/p>\n

The hero met his end during his expedition?! Now nothing more than a phantom, can he succeed in rescuing the kidnapped princesses?!<\/p>\n

The player must lead the two captive princesses through the castle, solving puzzles while escaping the Demon King\u2019s castle. The choices the player makes will decide the princesses\u2019 fates, and their own!<\/p>\n

Guide the Princesses<\/strong><\/p>\n

Instruct the princesses and lead them to their escape! The hero has no physical body and so he can\u2019t investigate things or solve puzzles on his own. He needs to ask the princesses to act for him.<\/p>\n

\u2014Find suspicious areas and get the princesses to check them out!<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2014The princesses then might acquire items or hints!<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2014Make use of that newly-found item or hint in dismantling traps, and find your way to escape!<\/em><\/p>\n

Use Clues to Solve the Puzzle<\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to get the princesses to escape, you\u2019re gonna need to deal with a lot of traps and puzzles. But to solve them, you\u2019re going to need to scour the room from top to bottom, and get all the items and hints! You, the hero, will have your cleverness tested at every turn!<\/p>\n

Solve Puzzles with the Princesses<\/strong><\/p>\n

No touching, no glancing, and don\u2019t get distracted! The princesses will have to \u201cput themselves out there\u201d if they want to solve the puzzles!<\/p>\n

There are many traps which will require the princesses to get their hands, feet, just about every other part of them dirty! There\u2019s a time limit for the puzzles, so you have to concentrate on the traps without getting distracted by the women in compromising positions before you! And forget about clicking on them! You all might enjoy it, but focus or they\u2019ll scold you! So keep your eye on the prize, suppress the desire to interact with the princesses, and disarm those traps, just like a real savior of the world should! But the hero\u2019s actions in this regard just might affect the fates of all three of you\u2026<\/p>\n

You Can\u2019t Take Your Eyes Off Them<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are many unavoidable distractions during your investigations.<\/p>\n

You thought you\u2019d just check the room, but there\u2019s more to check out when they walk around\u2026 You\u2019d have to blind yourself to avoid seeing them! What else can you do?<\/p>\n

Characters<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aria<\/strong> (voiced by Mao Amatsuka)<\/p>\n

The princess of the kingdom of Aria Zaza.<\/p>\n

Unable to venture far for most of her life, she\u2019s doesn\u2019t know too much about the world. She\u2019s soft-spoken, but passionate and sincerely hopes for a world where people are happy and live out their lives in peace.<\/p>\n

She says the occasional dumb thing sometimes, but she\u2019s booksmart and her astute, keen reasoning often surprises the people around her. She\u2019s also exceptionally well-versed in magic.<\/p>\n

She has always wished she could meet Princess Zena and that the two could be friends, however, they have not had the fortune of meeting one another.<\/p>\n

Zena<\/strong> (voiced by Fumiko Uchimura)<\/p>\n

The princess of the kingdom of Zanji Zard.<\/p>\n

She takes herself extremely seriously but can\u2019t be upfront about her feelings\u2014she\u2019s a classic tsundere, blowing hot and cold. She trains in swordsmanship daily and her skills are second-to-none!<\/p>\n

A dangerous mix of being afraid of nothing and willling take on anything, she belittles the hero one minute, and sets up his jokes the next.<\/p>\n

She hasn\u2019t met Aria, but has often been the target of comparisons between the two by other people and this has fuelled something of a rivalry for her.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n \t\t\n\t\t\t\t
