The official website for Pokemon Home updated today, revealing fresh information and screenshots about the new Switch and mobile app. We have information about moving and trading Pokemon as well as other features that are offered.<\/p>\n

Move<\/h2>\n

Move Pok\u00e9mon to Pok\u00e9mon HOME<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Nintendo Switch version of Pok\u00e9mon HOME supports connectivity with the Nintendo Switch games Pok\u00e9mon Sword, Pok\u00e9mon Shield, Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu!, and Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Eevee!<\/p>\n

Both the Nintendo Switch version and mobile device version of Pok\u00e9mon HOME support connectivity with the Nintendo 3DS software Pok\u00e9mon Bank.<\/p>\n

There are plans to support Pok\u00e9mon GO in the future as well.<\/p>\n

* Once a Pok\u00e9mon from Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu! or Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Eevee! is moved into Pok\u00e9mon Sword or Pok\u00e9mon Shield, it cannot be moved back to Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu! or Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Eevee!<\/p>\n

However, you can move Pok\u00e9mon from Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu! to Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Eevee! (or vice versa).<\/p>\n

Connect with Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Pok\u00e9mon Shield<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Pok\u00e9mon Shield can link to the Nintendo Switch version of Pok\u00e9mon HOME. Once the games are linked, you can deposit or retrieve Pok\u00e9mon that can be obtained using those games.<\/p>\n

Connect with Pok\u00e9mon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pok\u00e9mon: Let’s Go, Eevee!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu! and Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Eevee! can link to the Nintendo Switch version of Pok\u00e9mon HOME. You can move Pok\u00e9mon back and forth between Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu! and Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Eevee! or into Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Pok\u00e9mon Shield.<\/p>\n

Once a Pok\u00e9mon from Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu! or Pok\u00e9mon: Let\u2019s Go, Eevee! is moved to Pok\u00e9mon Sword or Pok\u00e9mon Shield, it cannot be returned to its original game!<\/p>\n

Connect with Pok\u00e9mon Bank<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you are enrolled in a Premium Plan (paid), you\u2019ll be able to move Pok\u00e9mon from Nintendo 3DS Pok\u00e9mon titles to Pok\u00e9mon HOME using Pok\u00e9mon Bank.<\/p>\n

Once a Pok\u00e9mon from Pok\u00e9mon Bank is moved into Pok\u00e9mon HOME, it cannot be moved back to Pok\u00e9mon Bank.<\/p>\n

To commemorate the release of Pok\u00e9mon HOME, we will make Pok\u00e9mon Bank and Pok\u00e9 Transporter available at no cost for a one-month period after Pok\u00e9mon HOME is released. You\u2019ll be able to bring Pok\u00e9mon from various Pok\u00e9mon series games using Pok\u00e9mon Bank and Pok\u00e9 Transporter. Once you’ve got your Pok\u00e9mon in Pok\u00e9mon Bank, you’ll then be able to move them to Pok\u00e9mon HOME!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Trade<\/h2>\n

Trade Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong><\/p>\n

Use your mobile device to trade Pok\u00e9mon anytime, anywhere! There are four ways to trade Pok\u00e9mon using Pok\u00e9mon HOME on your mobile device.<\/p>\n

Wonder Box<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon placed in the Wonder Box can be traded with people around the world before you even know it! The Pok\u00e9mon placed in the Wonder Box will be traded even when you\u2019re not using Pok\u00e9mon HOME.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be able to increase the number of Pok\u00e9mon you can trade at once by enrolling in a Premium Plan (paid).<\/p>\n

GTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the GTS, you\u2019ll be able to specify which Pok\u00e9mon you want to trade and which Pok\u00e9mon you want to receive and then be matched with a Trainer whose requests meet your criteria. You\u2019ll even be able to request Pok\u00e9mon that you haven\u2019t yet registered in Pok\u00e9mon HOME\u2019s National Pok\u00e9dex!<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be able to increase the number of Pok\u00e9mon you can trade at once by enrolling in a Premium Plan (paid).<\/p>\n

Room Trade<\/strong><\/p>\n

Room Trade lets you create a room and trade Pok\u00e9mon among the people who join. Each room can hold up to 20 people. To add a little suspense, you won\u2019t know what Pok\u00e9mon you\u2019ll receive until the trade is complete.<\/p>\n

Trading in rooms has no cost, but you\u2019ll only be able to create rooms when enrolled in a Premium Plan (paid).<\/p>\n

Friend Trade<\/strong><\/p>\n

Friend Trade allows you to trade your Pok\u00e9mon with other users who you\u2019ve become friends with in Pok\u00e9mon HOME. You can add friends using the Add Friend feature in Pok\u00e9mon HOME.<\/p>\n

The features related to adding and managing friends in Pok\u00e9mon HOME cannot be used by users under the age of 16.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

More Features<\/h2>\n

Pok\u00e9mon HOME is full of features that you can use to connect with games in the Pok\u00e9mon series and more!<\/p>\n

National Pok\u00e9dex<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon will be registered to the National Pok\u00e9dex when you deposit them in the Boxes in Pok\u00e9mon HOME. If you move a Pok\u00e9mon that can Mega Evolve or Gigantamax, then these forms will be registered, too! In the National Pok\u00e9dex, you\u2019ll be able to see Pok\u00e9dex entries from various different games in one place.<\/p>\n

With the mobile app version of Pok\u00e9mon HOME, you\u2019ll be able to see much more than just Pok\u00e9dex entries. You\u2019ll also be able to check each Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s Abilities as well as the moves it can learn!<\/p>\n

Mystery Gifts<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can receive Mystery Gifts in the mobile device version of Pok\u00e9mon HOME! With this feature, you can receive Mystery Gifts for Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Pok\u00e9mon Shield as well as gifts specifically for Pok\u00e9mon HOME. Pok\u00e9mon received in Pok\u00e9mon HOME can be directly deposited in a Box in Pok\u00e9mon HOME.<\/p>\n

Notes: You must be at least 16 years old to use the Local Event Check option for Mystery Gifts.<\/p>\n

Depending on your device and OS version, some features may not be supported.<\/p>\n

You can also get some gifts, such as items for Pok\u00e9mon, by receiving a code for a Mystery Gift in Pok\u00e9mon HOME and then using that code in Pok\u00e9mon Sword or Pok\u00e9mon Shield.<\/p>\n

Judge Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve enrolled in a Premium Plan, you\u2019ll have access to the Judge function, which allows you to check how strong your Pok\u00e9mon are.<\/p>\n

Your Room<\/strong><\/p>\n

In your room, you\u2019ll be able to see all sorts of information about events or the games you\u2019ve connected to Pok\u00e9mon HOME. You\u2019ll also be able to edit your profile using stickers. You can obtain stickers when you meet certain conditions or perform certain tasks in Pok\u00e9mon HOME known as Challenges.<\/p>\n

In the mobile app version of Pok\u00e9mon HOME, you can check out how Ranked Battles and various Online Competitions in Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Pok\u00e9mon Shield are going, as well as the rankings of the Pok\u00e9mon being used in them. By going to Battle Data, you\u2019ll be able to see the battle records of each Trainer as well as information about what moves are popular among the Pok\u00e9mon in the competitions.<\/p>\n

Note: The Battle Data function is expected to become available sometime after the February 2020 launch of Pok\u00e9mon HOME.<\/p>\n

News<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Pok\u00e9mon HOME for mobile devices, you\u2019ll be able to receive news about Pok\u00e9mon being distributed as gifts and information about Online Competitions for Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Pok\u00e9mon Shield.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon HOME Points<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon HOME Points are points that accumulate in Pok\u00e9mon HOME as you deposit more Pok\u00e9mon. When using the Nintendo Switch version of Pok\u00e9mon HOME, you\u2019ll be able to exchange your Pok\u00e9mon HOME points for BP (Battle Points) to be used in core Pok\u00e9mon series games.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
