Kadokawa Games has provided the latest update on Metal Max Xeno: Reborn. A new batch of details and screenshots have been released, covering the new character growth system and character skill trees.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

New Character Growth System with Five General Skill Trees<\/strong><\/p>\n

– The job system from Metal Max Xeno has been overhauled in Metal Max Xeno: Reborn
\n– Spend the skill points you obtain by leveling up on skills of your choosing from five general skill trees
\n– These include \u201cDrive,\u201d \u201cRepair,\u201d \u201cMedical,\u201d \u201cMilitia,\u201d and \u201cSurvive\u201d
\n– Skill trees also have several character-specific skills. Freely develop your characters based on party composition and vehicle<\/p>\n

Talis, the Lone Hunter<\/strong><\/p>\n

– The protagonist Talis has a mechanical left arm
\n– His arrival in Dystokio reactivates the gears of fate for the few survivors and the endangered human species in the region
\n– In addition to a complete \u201cDrive\u201d skill tree, Talis also has a unique skill tree called \u201cNeph-Tech,\u201d which is not available for other characters
\n– The \u201cDrive\u201d skill tree is dedicated to vehicle driving and operation ability
\n– Talis has the unique skills \u201cBabel Blast\u201d and \u201cIllusion Drive\u201d
\n– \u201cRevenge Hellfire\u201d is a skill from the \u201cNeph-Tech\u201d skill tree activated from Talis\u2019 mechanical left arm
\n– Through technology still unknown to man, his left arm transforms and fires a powerful flame-attribute blow
\n– \u201cAll Cannons Fire,\u201d a skill that can simultaneously fire all weapons equipped to the tank, is the highest rank skill on the \u201cDrive\u201d skill tree
\n– It is a crucial skill to have in battles against powerful monsters such as Wanted Monsters<\/p>\n

Yokky, the Kind-Hearted Mechanic<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Young man who was taken in by the Iron Base as an orphan from an early age
\n– Under the influence of Jingoro, the engineer who raised him, he developed a natural talent for tinkering with machines
\n– Fell in love with Toni at first sight, who he saw in the town that was once adjacent to the Iron Base
\n– Yokky has additional skills centered on the \u201cRepair\u201d skill tree that utilize his talent for tinkering with machines
\n– The \u201cRepair\u201d skill tree is dedicated to the repair and strengthening of vehicles as an engineer
\n– Yokky has the unique skills \u201cDamage Repair\u201d and \u201cWreck Repair\u201d
\n– \u201cLoosen Up\u201d is an active skill in the \u201cRepair\u201d skill tree that utilizes Yokky\u2019s talent for tinkering with machines to lower the defenses of machine-type monsters
\n– Use it whenever you come across a group of machine-type monsters<\/p>\n

Toni, the Cute Survivor<\/strong><\/p>\n

– A girl who came to Iron Town from her hometown with her father for an unknown reason
\n– After the invasion of the new-type monsters \u201cSoNs (Sons of NOA),\u201d the haven she had finally procured was lost
\n– Cute-looking girl with a fiery determination
\n– Toni has additional skills based on the \u201cSurvive\u201d skill tree to assess the survival of both herself and her friends
\n– \u201cSurvive\u201d skill tree is dedicated to survival ability
\n– This affects exhibited both in battle and on the field
\n– Toni has the unique skill \u201cSmoke Bomb\u201d
\n– Even while her party fights to the death, Toni can withstand enemies with \u201cPlay Dead\u201d whenever she finds herself in trouble
\n– This is a basic \u201cSurvive\u201d skill that comes out through danger and discord
\n– Just like actual death, not only does it fool monsters, it may even fool the player if they did were not aware<\/p>\n

Dylan, the Gang Leader<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Leader of a gang that terrorized the area around Iron Town
\n– Dearly misses the friends that he lost, and is not a bad guy at heart
\n– He swears revenge against the monsters that killed his friends
\n– Has additional skills based on the \u201cMilitia\u201d skill tree, which are both wild and extravagant
\n– \u201cMilitia\u201d skill tree is dedicated to abilities mainly active in human battles
\n– Has the unique skills \u201cRoar of the Beast\u201d and \u201cSteal\u201d
\n– Win the battle in a single hit with \u201cManly Punch!\u201d
\n– This is an active skill for male characters in the \u201cMilitia\u201d skill tree that deals more damage to the enemy by taking additional damage yourself<\/p>\n

Maria, the Legendary Soldier<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Sexy woman soldier known as the Immortal Maria
\n– Has fought in war since she was a child
\n– Continues to fight to protect an important facility in Dystokio from the the monsters\u2019 attack
\n– Maria has additional skills centered on the \u201cMilitia\u201d skill tree, which are both precise and high-powered
\n– Has the unique skills \u201cEarth Rumble\u201d and \u201cHuman Patriot\u201d
\n– \u201cEarth Rumble\u201d allows Maria to make the first strike at a further distance than usual
\n– \u201cHuman Patriot\u201d uses Maria\u2019s main weapon to intercept the enemy\u2019s attack<\/p>\n

Misaki, the Cool and Beautiful Medic<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Beautiful medic with the appearance of a woman
\n– Mysterious young man
\n– Intellectual and gentlemanly, but sometimes comes off as someone who has given up on on hates humanity
\n– Misaki can learn medical skills based on the \u201cMedical\u201d skill tree unique to a war medic
\n– \u201cMedical\u201d skill tree is dedicated to medical abilities that are mainly effective in human battle
\n– Misaki has the unique skill \u201cBomb Master\u201d
\n– \u201cBanned Syringe\u201d is a skill that kills bio-type enemies in a single hit
\n– This skill is perfect for Misaki, who is regularly equipped with medical instruments as weapons<\/p>\n

Ittica, the Popular U-Kabuki Girl<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Mysterious survivor you meet midway through the game
\n– Once a popular U-Kabuki actor
\n– Mysterious beauty with a tail and of unknown age
\n– Has numerous additional skills that mimic the unique skills of other characters
\n– Has a \u201cMilitia\u201d skill tree
\n– Meet certain conditions and Maria\u2019s \u201cEarth Rumble\u201d and Dylan\u2019s \u201cSteal\u201d will appear here, allowing her to mimic their abilities
\n– By using the \u201cMilitia\u201d skill tree\u2019s \u201cBlind Fire\u201d skill, she will randomly unleash several attacks<\/p>\n\n\n \t\t\n\t\t\t\t
