The Pokemon Company has issued an official announcement for the just-announced Pokemon Unite, the new strategic battle game. It will be available for Switch and mobile as previously mentioned.<\/p>\n

Today during a Pok\u00e9mon Presents video presentation, Tsunekazu Ishihara, president and CEO of The Pok\u00e9mon Company, unveiled Pok\u00e9mon UNITE, a new game for the Nintendo Switch system and mobile devices. Pok\u00e9mon UNITE is being developed in partnership with Tencent Games\u2019 TiMi Studios.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon UNITE is the first strategic Pok\u00e9mon team battle game. Players face off against each other in five-on-five team battles. During these battles, players will cooperate with teammates to catch wild Pok\u00e9mon, level up and evolve their own Pok\u00e9mon. They will need to defeat their opponents\u2019 Pok\u00e9mon while trying to earn more points than the opposing team within the allotted time. Pok\u00e9mon UNITE will be free-to-start.<\/p>\n
