Square Enix has delivered a new batch of details and screenshots for Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory. On top of that, we have information pertaining to confirmed songs, Versus Mode version differences, and more.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Melody of Memory<\/strong><\/p>\n

– A world of memories guided by the power of music
\n– Visit each world by Gummi Ship and melody
\n– Collect the \u201cRhythm\u201d in each world while looking back at memories
\n– The mysterious power woven by the melody creates memories, and memories become the world and bring back to life the adventures that have occurred thus far<\/p>\n

Party<\/strong><\/p>\n

– A large number of characters from the Kingdom Hearts series are playable
\n– Outside of the \u201cOriginal\u201d cast, you can switch between parties at any time once unlocked
\n– Party: Original – Sora, Donald, Goofy
\n– Party: Days – Roxas, Xion, Axel<\/p>\n

How to Play<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Press the buttons to match the timing of incoming enemies and musical notes
\n– You will be scored \u201cExcellent,\u201d \u201cGood,\u201d or \u201cMiss\u201d for each button input based on your timing
\n– If you get a \u201cMiss,\u201d your HP in the lower-right corner of the screen will decrease
\n– \u201cGame Over\u201d if depleted fully
\n– \u201cMusic Select,\u201d which is one of the game\u2019s main modes, has three control play styles to choose from
\n– Normal Style: The most basic play style; play with the standard controls that uses several buttons
\n– One-Button Style: A one-button play style where every action can be performed the same button; recommended for players who want to focus on the rhythm without being distracted by button inputs
\n– Performer Style: A challenging play style with complicated button inputs that use more buttons than Normal Style; recommended for players who prefer more technical button inputs and pressing the assigned buttons<\/p>\n

World Tour<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Visit the various worlds of Kingdom Hearts memories to obtain new songs and story movies
\n– Each song offers three difficulties to choose from: Beginner, Standard, and Proud
\n– Unlocked songs can be played at any time from Music Select
\n– Story movie can be viewed at any time in the \u201cMuseum\u201d<\/p>\n

Music Select<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Choose and play your favorite songs from unlocked songs
\n– Practice your favorite song and then challenge it at the highest difficulty<\/p>\n

Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n

– View Collection cards and story movies, listen to music via the Jukebox, and more<\/p>\n

Field Battle<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Match the rhythm to defeat enemies while running atop the staff line of the music staff notation
\n– Use various actions such as abilities and aerial attacks to defeat enemies in a backdrop formed by memories<\/p>\n

Memory Dive<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Dive into memory videos and enjoy a sense of immersion as if linked to the video by inputting buttons to match the incoming targets<\/p>\n

Boss Battle<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Defeat the boss while inputting targets
\n– By successfully inputting targets covered in dark auras, you can avoid the boss\u2019 special attacks<\/p>\n

Online Versus and Friend Versus<\/strong><\/p>\n

– “Online Versus”: competitive mode that you can play online with faraway friends
\n– This mode includes an exclusive element called \u201cTricks\u201d that allow you to obstruct your opponent, creating heated battles for the high score
\n– The Switch version has “Friend Versus,” a local correspondence that you can play with nearby friends
\n– The content is the same as Online Versus
\n– Trick: Hide Guide – Hides the timing guide on targets
\n– Trick: HP Change – Switches the player and opponent\u2019s HP<\/p>\n

COM Versus<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Compete for the highest rank against the computer in this offline mode
\n– Win three times while competing against five parties to increase your rank
\n– Aim for the highest rank: Platinum Rank 1<\/p>\n

Friend Battle Royale<\/strong><\/p>\n

– A Switch-exclusive local correspondence mode where up to eight players can play Field Battle together
\n– Players who \u201cMiss\u201d a pre-set number of times will be forced to drop out, and the player with the highest score in the end will win<\/p>\n
