Square Enix has provided more information about Harvestella<\/strong><\/a> today, covering aspects such as the summer location Shatolla, characters Heine and Emo, Mechanic and Woglinde jobs, and more. Alongside that, a new set of screenshots have been provided.<\/p>\n

Here’s the full rundown:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Summer Location: Shatolla<\/strong><\/p>\n

Welcome to the seaside town of Shatolla.<\/p>\n

Many of the residents here support themselves through fishing.<\/p>\n

There is a large tavern in the center of town. Fishers who have finished a hard day\u2019s work gather here to drink and sing together.<\/p>\n

Ever since the change in the Seaslight, giant bubbles have been appearing on the seas by Shatolla. People call these the Summer Bulla.<\/p>\n

At the same time, a whispered rumor begins to spread amongst the fishing community about the sea witch, Lorelei. They say her singing voice can drag ships to the bottom of the ocean.<\/p>\n

In the tavern, a singer known as Emo tries to bring courage and cheer to the fishers.<\/p>\n

The diva of Shatolla wants to travel to the Seaslight for some reason. Although it doesn\u2019t seem like she can tell anyone why…<\/p>\n

Your journey will take you into the dangerous Coral Shrine!<\/p>\n

Characters<\/strong><\/p>\n

Next, allow us to show you a couple of the characters you\u2019ll meet in Shatolla: Heine and Emo.<\/p>\n

Heine<\/span><\/p>\n

Heine is an inventor with an atelier in Shatolla. He\u2019s a young man who spends his days entirely absorbed in creating inventions. Everyone treats him as a bit of an eccentric.<\/p>\n

A dandy and ladies\u2019 man, he\u2019s quick to start flirting with women.<\/p>\n

Emo<\/span><\/p>\n

Emo is the diva of the tavern in Shatolla.<\/p>\n

She seems to have a somewhat otherworldly air about her…<\/p>\n

Adventure: new jobs revealed<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jobs determine your weapon and abilities in battle. You can equip many different jobs in Harvestella, such as the previously revealed Fighter, Mage, and Shadow Walker.<\/p>\n

If you recruit a character with a particular job, the protagonist becomes able to use that job as well!<\/p>\n

Today, we\u2019re going to show you a couple of new jobs you can use:<\/p>\n

Mechanic<\/span><\/p>\n

The Mechanic job is proficient at physical attacks and weakening enemies. It also lets you perform charge attacks.<\/p>\n

Woglinde<\/span><\/p>\n

This job that lets you wield magic through song to support your team. It also lets you perform charge attacks.<\/p>\n

Adventure: Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each job has its own unique skills, which you can obtain from its Skill Board.<\/p>\n

Some skills can be performed in battle while others take effect simply by being acquired.<\/p>\n

JP (Job Points) are required to obtain skills, and are gained by defeating enemies in battle.
\nYou\u2019ll gradually unlock more and more panels and obtain skills that grant all kinds of effects!<\/p>\n

Daily Life: Summer Produce<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u2019s enough about battles and action – let\u2019s talk about food!<\/p>\n

While some produce can be grown and harvested all year round, some fruit and veg can only be grown during a particular season.<\/p>\n

Here is a look at some Summer produce!<\/p>\n

– Shatollan Paprika.
\n– Bellhop.
\n– Seatide Garlic.
\n– Macocoa.<\/p>\n

Daily Life: Summer Cuisine<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can sell all these crops to make money, or you can hold some back for cooking. Prepare to drool when you see these examples of summer cuisine\u2026<\/p>\n

– Fisherman\u2019s Sandwich.
\n– Hop Juice.
\n– Shrimp and Mushroom Tapas.
\n– Melting Chocolate Fondant.<\/p>\n

Daily life: Waterside and cave biomes<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve played the Harvestella demo, you\u2019ll have seen the field outside the protagonist\u2019s home. That\u2019s not the only place to grow crops, however – there are fields in special environments too! There are some crops that can only grow in these environments.<\/p>\n

Waterside biome<\/span><\/p>\n

Here we see an irrigated field full of water.
\nSweet crops grow well in this biome.<\/p>\n

Cave biome<\/span><\/p>\n

Spices and other seasonings grow well in the dry ground of caves.<\/p>\n

Daily Life: Renovation<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Renovator in Lethe can help you to improve many aspects of your daily life.<\/p>\n

For example, they can expand your field, build or animal enclosures, or construct a kitchen counter to allow you to cook.<\/p>\n

Animal Enclosures<\/span><\/p>\n

Having an animal enclosure built will allow you to rear livestock.<\/p>\n

You can increase the number of livestock you can keep by building more animal pens.<\/p>\n

Kitchen Counter<\/span><\/p>\n

Placing a kitchen counter will allow you to cook meals. You cook with ingredients you collect and produce you grow.<\/p>\n

Meals are essential on your adventures. For example, they can recover your stamina and HP.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
