Outbound announced for Nintendo Switch 2

Silver Lining Interactive and developer Square Glade Games have just announced that Outbound, the cozy van-life “cozyvival” adventure previously confirmed for other platforms, is also coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.The game received a release window and will launch in Q2 2026.

Outbound is a cozy survival journey that invites players to disconnect from the outside world, far from all the noise and reconnect with what truly matters: creativity, community, and the quiet joy of exploration. Whether you’re building a warm hideaway deep in the woods or chasing sunsets across the desert, every path tells its own story.

Outbound is an open-world exploration game set in a utopian near future. You start with an empty camper van and turn it into the home of your dreams. Build and explore at your own pace. Scavenge materials, craft, automate production, and build in and on top of your vehicle with modular parts. Advance in technology and efficiently use energy to power your home. Adjust your strategy to adapt to new landscapes and changing environmental conditions.
