Nintendo of America has confirmed that Fire Emblem: Three Houses will include same-sex relationships are possible for select characters in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. At this time, the company is keeping quiet on specifics so that the game isn’t spoiled for players.

Although not confirmed, a supposed leak did crop up not too long ago, which contained information about same-sex relationships. These characters were named as possible options:

Monster Hunter has a brand new movie coming next year. Although we’ve yet to see much from it, a trailer did leak online not too long ago.

In an interview with Bahamut, long-time Monster Hunter developer Kaname Fujioka, who has directed the series and served other roles, was asked about the film. He said that the team “did discuss with the director and CG production team many times” and ultimately believes “the final result should probably satisfy players.” Fujioka also noted how he and other staffers at Capcom feel the director’s “respect” for the IP.

Sekai Games has announced a handful of games for Switch. Root Double: Before Crime After Days, Fault: Milestone One, Heart of the Woods, World End Economica, and Narcissu will be released starting this year. Find the full details below.

Following the original leak a few days ago, Bandai Namco has officially announced Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for Switch. The RPG will launch on September 20.

As previously mentioned, Ni no Kuni for Switch will be more along the lines of a port from the PlayStation 3 version. Other platforms will be receiving a “Remastered” version with improved resolution and performance. The Switch version will run at 720p and 30 frames per second.

Here’s an overview of Ni no Kuni, along with a trailer:

Mortal Kombat 11 players will finally be learning about the new characters joining the game tomorrow. On Twitter a short while ago, the series’ official Twitter account teased the impending news regarding the DLC reveal.

Here’s that tweet in question:

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai recently released a new book in Japan. It’s largely a compilation of columns previously published in Famitsu, along with some extra tidbits. Naturally there was quite a substantial amount of Smash Bros. material in there.

Ayumi Tachibana has rounded up some of the more noteworthy tidbits from the book. He discussed DLC and said that popular characters like Goku are unlikely to happen, stated that there probably won’t be another Smash Bros. Ballot, and more.

Last month, a listing for Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition was spotted on EB Games Canada. There’s now additional proof about the port happening thanks to a listing from Koch Media.

THQ Nordic acquired Koch Media last February. On Koch’s distribution website, a listing for Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition has appeared on Switch with an August 6 release date. The distribution page further lends credence to the idea of a physical release, which would make sense given that the original Darksiders was also sold for Switch at retail.

We imagine that THQ Nordic will have something official to say about Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition in the near future.

Realm Royale confirmed for Switch

Following several leaks, Realm Royale has finally been confirmed for Switch. How it was confirmed is a bit of an oddity.

A trailer for Realm Royale popped up on Nintendo Portugal’s YouTube channel today. Despite the video stating that it can be played now with a Founder’s Pack, that doesn’t actually appear to be the case. Regardless, Realm Royale is coming to Switch very soon.

Here’s the trailer in question:

Joker will be added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tomorrow, April 17, Nintendo has announced. He will be accompanied by version 3.0.0.

New Persona spirits are on the way, too. And let’s not forget the latest Mii Fighter outfits, which also include the latest Sonic representation.
