    they look boring 🙁 imo

  • Oh, by the by the MM one will unlock a fierce deity costume in BOTW. I know cause I already hacked said costume into the game.

Oh and by the by the official guide lists all the Amiibo costumes as “Unlocked by Corresponding Amiibo”, and we’ve known about this since the datamine, so its not like this was a secret to anybody, much less everybody.
I know cause I actually pay for the things I want.

      Like a guide.
      Or a figurine.
      Or content.

      • Well good for you for potentially paying upwards of 60 extra dollars for content that’s already on the disk of the $60 game you bought.

I’d hardly even call what I did, which was using a BOTW trainer to replace repeats of clothes I already had with the amiibo clothes, piracy. I mean I bought the game and will buy the DLC. I’m just not gonna waste $60 I don’t have for figurines that do nothing but unlock clothing in one game specifically.

They don’t “do nothing but add clothing to one game specifically”
They also make for a killer display when put next to eachother on a shelf.
I’d post a picture of my current collection of Zelda Amiibo, but I don’t have any accounts at image sharing sites, and I lack a decent camera.
And it’s dark out, and I don’t think my lamp is enough of a light source.
          They’re $13-16, not $20 by the way.
Only the Guardian Amiibo is $20. And that one’s bigger. And has an adjustable pose.

Convince yourself of whatever you want to justify your crime, be my guest.

The law is harsh, but it is the law.

          • Assuming you don’t have Smash Link and Toon Link Amiibo, which I do, then to get all the content you’d need: OOT LInk, Toon Link, Toon Zelda, Classic Link, TP Link, SS Link, Sheik, MM Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf (I think anyways.) That’s 10 amiibo at $12-$13 a piece so around $120 – $130 on top of the $64 (including tax on this one) you spent for the base game that already has all $130 worth of content on the disk you just bought.

All for: 6 costumes, one mask, 7 weapons, 1 shield, and a horse. If Nintendo is so beaten up by me using a trainer to change the data of things like tree branches and Hylian Tunics to be other things like Fierce Deities Sword and Costume respectively, then they should have offered this measly content as a $10 download pack on the eshop. Even then though, paying $10 for something I already bought is asinine.

I love the Child Link figure. The SS one isn’t bad too.
The TP figure seems to suffer from a bad choice of colors though.

Yeah … That’s a shame it’s my favourite design so far!

      Even the Hair is wrong!

    So…many…Link…Amiibo…can’t…handle…the…Links…self…destruct…3…2…1…

  • Ramon

The TP Link looks sooo boring! The SSB one looks better!

    • Hidden Flare

The pee yellow rectangle really makes the ssb one look outstanding.

      • Ramon

        Well, aside from that 😛
They could have picked a better pose from him for this one.

Only the MM one looks nice, the other two are weird with SS Link’s rage face and TP Link’s flying tunic
