As shown in today’s ARMS Direct, Nintendo has prepared a new trailer focusing on the single-player campaign in Splatoon 2. Watch it below.
So yeah Callie was kidnapped, brainwashed and now is the general of the octarians…So yeah is Squid Sisters Civil War.
Or it’s the “Batman V Superman” of this game.
The single player looks so good so far. I can’t wait to play.
I’m hoping Callie was just brainwashed. There’s no way she’d be THAT upset over losing the SplatFest.
Believe it or not the salt someone can dump for losing can reach those levels. Case and point most Smash rage quits.
If she is, then playing that one song from last time would be the key to getting her out of it.
Yes! Calamari Inkantation can free Callie!
The same thing might happen to Marie as well halfway through the story.
Callie = final boss.
Closer, but nope, mindless kid. If anything, she must be mind controlled, by DJ Octavio.
Ok, smart adult.
Its possible they can both be the final boss, you fight both and only can win by defeating Octo and release Callie from the mind control
After you free her, she’ll then help you out against Octavio.
Noo,I knew this might’ve been the case, but it’s still kinda “rrrrg” to see Callie on the dark side;even if brainwashed
So now there’s a story mode, and with the help of Marie, the undisputed Splatfest champion, the Inkling hero will fight the Octarians, who have returned for revenge. And the main villain for this game is…Callie?! Oh no, NONONONONONONONO NO! That cannot be true! There’s no way Callie has turned evil! What, was she still a sore loser for losing against Marie in the final Splatfest, and she ended up being evil just like that?! I call “BULL CRAP”! Callie must be under mind control, but who could possibly-? (GASP) Of course, DJ Octavio! He must have escaped and forced Callie to do his bidding! Yeah, that’s gotta be it. So predictable!
She’s obviously brainwashed. Clearly, she would not be THAT sour over losing the Splatfest. According to Squid Sister Stories, she was anything but.
Will we have to…ki…kill Callie? Cause, I don’t want too. She’s my girl, and it’ll break my heart if we do. No! I refuse to do it!
You actually think that freeing her from their control isn’t an option? That’s the most likely situation, and then she’ll help you defeat them.
It’s just, Nintendo has dark before…
What the heck does that mean?
Everyone with a modicum of sense knows that Callie will be back for good by the end of the story.
For all I know, this same thing might happen to Marie when you get further in the story.
Loved the first game. This looks just as good but I’m not buying a switch.
Not much of an online gamer so I’m super excited about this!
