“Gamestop Kids” stores begin opening today

Well, I’m pretty surprised I hadn’t heard about this before today! Apparently Gamestop is debuting a new kind of store called “Gamestop KIDS” that will be focused on selling age-appropriate content to people who want to either buy games for their children or to children who want to buy games for themselves. All of the games will be rated “E” (“E 10+” is probably a given as well), and there will be a heavy emphasis on including various bits of swag (plushies, foam toys, accessories, etc) alongside the games.

So it will be like a toy store mixed with a Gamestop, and yes, the logo is as 90s as you’d imagine:
