Best Friend Forever

The pet simulation game, Best Friend Forever, has been updated to version 1.1.4 on the Switch. This update includes some new SFX, accessibility options, and a lot of bug fixes.

Check out the full patch notes below:

Version 1.1.4 Includes:

FEATURES

You can now make the cursor size thicc via the Settings menu.
More SFX have been added throughout various sections of the game.
BUG FIXES/QOL IMPROVEMENTS

Max cursor speed setting value is now faster than a blue hedgehog.
Removed unused sound assets.
Fixed bug were dates would consume more “motivation points” than they should have (real life??), resulting in an issue where no matter how many MP a player had when starting a date, they would have zero afterwards and the week would immediately end. Now, if the player has 4 or 5 MP when starting the date, and they still have events remaining in the week, they will correctly go back to the map after the date scene.
Adjustments for default audio levels for music and voice lines – this will only affect new installs without existing settings saved.
Minor text fixes for the “Where Are They Now?” epilogue sequence.
Fixed cursor size setting not applying as soon as the game starts. Rude as hell.
Fixed cursor size when petting the dog.
Prevented the “swish” SFX from playing after every successful interactive dog event.
Fixed random encounter map pins taking priority over date map pins. Date pins will now always display if they’re available – go date the Rainbow Baes!
Fixed miscellaneous dialogue errors in Maribel & Robin’s second dates.
