Yum Yum Cookstar heading to Switch in October

Original (9/12): Planet Entertainment has announced Yum Yum Cookstar, a new cooking game for Switch. A release is scheduled for October 4, 2022.

Yum Yum Cookstar is a new cooking game experience from the creators of Cooking Mama: Cookstar. In this new game, players will stir, fry, chop and bake their way through 70+ recipes in an energetic new competition hosted by Chef Yum Yum. A fan of unicorn food as well as culinary artist, Chef Yum Yum introduces colorful and creative dishes with vegetarian variants including Rainbow Waffles, Unicorn Smoothies, Sushi Burritos and French Toast Cake. Three fully voice acted judges with distinct personalities rate players’ cooking with comedic lines written by National Lampoon writers. Oodles of game modes including four difficulty levels, a Daily Cooking Challenge and judge-curated Invitational Tournaments with numerous unlocks of kitchen and appliance customizations. Exciting soundtrack by award winning composer Nile Rodgers.
