Splatoon 3 temporarily closing Mincemeat Metalworks, map seeing an update

Splatoon 3 will be temporarily closing its Mincemeat Metalworks early next week. This will begin on January 21 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET, lasting until January 23 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.

Nintendo officially says that the downtime is “for inventory and on-site inspection.” However, the real reason should be that the stage is seeing some adjustments. The image above teases what’s to come for Mincemeat Metalworks.

Even with the level temporarily going offline, there are still plenty of others to play on. Between the new maps for Splatoon 3 plus returning ones from Splatoon 1 and 2, there are around twenty to splat in.
