While there’s previously been speculation about Castaway coming to Switch, Canari Games made it official today. On top of that, we have a release date of August 16, 2024.

Castaway is a retro-inspired adventure game. You’ll play as Martin, whose spaceship crash-landed on an uncharted island. Hostile creatures take your pet away, and it’ll be up to you to save your kidnapped companion.

Beat the 3 bosses in the concise and delightful “Story Mode” to unlock the thrilling and addictive “Survivor Mode.” Ascend a 50-floor tower, with each level presenting increasingly challenging trials!
