Fatherhood

Today, Persis Play announced its upcoming title Fatherhood for Switch. The developer did not provide a release window.

Fatherhood is a 2.5D side-scrolling adventure game. You’ll play as a father who’s navigating through the dangers of war and protecting his blind daughter, which includes doing things like evading soldiers and rebels, looking for water, food, and medicine, and more.

Further details can be found in the following overview:

Fatherhood is a 2.5D side-scrolling atmospheric adventure where players become a father navigating through the dangers of war, willing to sacrifice everything to save his daughter who became blind during the war. Featuring a unique hugging mechanic, multiple endings, and narrative choices, it offers an emotional story and an immersive experience.

The world of Fatherhood is dark and filled with the harsh realities of war. The main characters must navigate through heavily armed soldiers, rarely able to rely on weapons. Along the way, they face tough choices—decisions that impact their fate and relationships. It’s a struggle between holding onto their humanity or doing whatever it takes to survive.

As you flee from soldiers, the stress of facing the enemy or temporarily leaving your daughter alone can be overwhelming and it can increase her ANXIETY, but you can HUG her to calm her down. Though opportunities to defend yourself against soldiers are rare, you must make the most of any available resources to survive.
