Horror RPG Camp Sunshine releasing on Switch in October

Camp Sunshine is seeing release on Switch, publisher Hound Picked Games and Fossil Games have announced. The title is slated for October 9, 2024.

Camp Sunshine, a 16-bit horror RPG, has players taking on the role of Jez. While at camp, he’ll need to get to the bottom of a slasher mystery.

In Camp Sunshine, players step into the shoes of Jez, a kid dropped off at summer camp for what’s supposed to be a fun, unforgettable experience. But when Jez wakes up in the dead of night, things take a terrifying turn. Blood stains the campgrounds, and a relentless killer is on the hunt, slaughtering everyone in sight. Now, you must survive a nightmarish game of cat and mouse, where every shadow hides danger and escape is anything but guaranteed.

In a brutal race for survival, Jez must unravel the twisted mystery behind the Summer Camp Slasher. As the blood-soaked history of the camp unravels, the truth becomes more terrifying than the killer’s rampage. Only by confronting these horrifying secrets can Jez hope to end the night of terror and escape with his life. Time is running out, and the nightmare is just beginning!
