Pico Park 1 + 2 Switch physical release happening in Japan with English support, pre-orders open

The Pico Park series has only been available digitally on Switch thus far, but that’s about to change with the Pico Park 1 + 2 Switch physical release. It will be available on November 28, 2024 in Japan.

Tecopark will be distributing this new boxed edition, which includes an original sticker and a soundtrack download code. As you’d expect, Pico Park 1 and 2 will both be on a physical Switch cartridge for the first time.

Despite being Japan-only, the games will support multiple languages. Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese are all included. Also, since Switch is region free, that means you can import and play through everything regardless of where you are in the world.

Here’s a bit of information about both games:

Pico Park

Cooperative action puzzle game for 2-8 players! The rule is quite simple: “Get all the keys and get to the goal and clear”, but all 48 levels have special gimmicks designed specifically for multiplayer. At most levels, different gimmicks will appear as you move forward, and you will need to consult with your peers and think about new ways to cooperate.

Pico Park 2

Pico Park is back with all new levels! Play with 2-8 players locally or online in this co-op action-puzzle game! Pico Park 2 is a 2D action-puzzle game where working together is key! We’re now back with more levels than in the last game!

As with the previous iteration, this game can be played locally or online from two players all the way to eight. All levels can be played no matter how many players you have, so jump in with your friends and take ’em on!
