North Tokyo is working on a Switch version of Ties: Soul Link, the studio confirmed today. As of now a release window has not yet been decided.

Ties: Soul Link is a 2D Metroidvania game that combines RPG action with platforming adventures. The game features a story about a decaying world set in the year 2097.

Ties: Soul Link takes players to a deteriorated world in the year 2097. The story follows Kiro and Chloe, who, after a tragic accident separates them, must face a brutal and bloody environment. Weakened and desperate, Kiro must find Chloe, who has fallen ill, to save both of them while exploring amazing cities and battling ruthless enemies.

Those looking to support Ties: Soul Link will be able to do so with a Kickstarter campaign, which will be available here. Physical rewards will be available including a hardcover 200-page art book, a 27cm tall Kiro plush, and a very limited 20 cm tall Kiro statue. Digital rewards include a special digital edition of the game containing the original soundtrack, and exclusive skins like the Dark Kiro and the Red Fox Kitsune.
