Fruity arcade game Smoothcade hitting Nintendo Switch next week
Smoothcade is heading to Nintendo Switch next week, publisher 2AwesomeStudio and developer Biddum Games shared today. It’s slated for November 14, 2024.
Smoothcade is a charming “clear the screen” modern-arcade game. Players will experience platforming and puzzle-solving across 100 handcrafted levels, which can be tackled alone or with a friend.

Smoothcade is a cute yet challenging modern-arcade experience where players race against the clock to clear screens filled with fruity critters. Set in a series of colorful, puzzle-laden levels, players are tasked with finding the lost golden blender. With engaging co-op gameplay, Smoothcade offers something for everyone.
Game Modes
- Story Mode: Take on 100 levels across three difficulties in search of the golden blender.
- Battle Mode: Compete in a fast-paced fruit-collecting showdown for up to 4 players on procedurally
- generated levels.
- Endless Mode: Survive as long as you can with only four lives in ever-tougher procedurally generated levels.
- Speed Run: Race through a world of 10 levels against the clock.
- Replay Mode: Perfect your skills by replaying levels and aiming for a 3-star rating.

- Capture & Karma System: Use “cloudies” to catch and clear critters. Jump on cloudies for a boost and switch between Mayhem and Mercy to unlock special items.
