Bubble Ghost Remake unveils physical release for Nintendo Switch

Select Play and Nakama Game Studios today lifted the curtain on its Nintendo Switch physical release for Bubble Ghost Remake.

Fans will be able to choose between a standard version and Deluxe Edition. The latter includes the game, an original prequel comic, a deluxe box with an exclusive illustration, the physical soundtrack by Fran Romguer, an acrylic standee, and a sticker set.

After mysteriously succumbing to the afterlife, renowned inventor Heinrich Von Schinker finds himself deep within his northern England castle. Though no longer of this world, he retains the same inquisitive nature he always had, and that curiosity leads him to blow a strange bubble through his castle’s corridors and stairways while facing down his own inventions, wild animals, and others that have taken over. Guiding this bubble to freedom is Heinrich’s only chance at learning what exactly has happened since his untimely departure.

With a unique revamped art style and soundscape that brings this wistful world to life, and more than 40 challenging levels filled with clever puzzles to platform through, Bubble Ghost Remake will captivate you just as it did more than 30 years ago. In this remake, unlock in-game achievements, compare scores with players on the global leaderboard, and discover hidden game modes, collectibles, secrets, and more.

Once you’ve helped Heinrich free this bubble in the Story mode, jump into the Original mode to relive the magic of the classics with a revamped experience of the 35 original levels from the Game Boy and Atari ST. Additionally, Speedrun mode challenges you to complete Bubble Ghost Remake as fast as possible – the fastest will find their name in the pantheon of legends in the game’s Hall of Fame.
