Nintendo Switch 2 accessory SKUs listed in GameStop’s system – microSD Express Cards, more [update: another retailer]
January 8: Here we go once again with yet another Nintendo Switch 2 update, this time involving GameStop. This is the first time that a major retailer has now entered the ring.
Reddit user Opposite-Chemistry96 shared an image today showing that accessory SKUs are now listed in GameStop’s internal system. 256GB and 512GB versions are popping up for microSD Express Cards. Other peripherals include a Joy-Con charger grip, gaming cases, and temper glass. No release date is listed.
The benefits of microSD Express Cards boil down to transfer speeds. They’re much faster than regular microSD cards, which the current Nintendo Switch supports.
You can check out the photo showing GameStop’s internal system below. As of now there’s no indication that any of these Nintendo Switch 2 accessories can be pre-ordered.
