Pixel art action game Skies Above coming to Nintendo Switch [update: release date]
January 30: Skies Above will be getting a release on Nintendo Switch, publisher Flynn’s Arcade and developer HungryDingo announced today. No release window has been provided.
Skies Above is a pixel art action game. The objective here is to to help a Leviathan reach space by defending it from an endless robot army.

A fast-paced, 2D action game, where your goal is to destroy the endless waves of flying orb bots and fly higher with every run, until the Leviathan is saved!

- Dash swiftly from enemy to enemy while chaining together special attacks, obtaining combos, and exploiting the power of your enemies!
- Forge and upgrade runes in the camp to obtain special skills and make the Leviathan even more powerful, so you can ascend even further!
- Complete challenges, collect fish and meet new friends to make the journey easier.

April 3: The game is now confirmed for release on April 17, 2025. It will normally cost $7.99, but a 20 percent discount is planned for launch week.
