Nintendo reveals full lineup of Switch 2 user icons, much more than Switch 1

In an update shared on the Nintendo Today app today, the lineup of user icons for Switch 2 was revealed.

Nintendo has confirmed that Switch 2 owners will be able to access 258 icons at the start. To compare, the current Nintendo Switch has 147. Needless to say, the lineup is much more extensive on its successor.

Here’s a look at all of the icons planned:

Icons Reveal

Many of Nintendo’s big franchises are represented here. Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, and more will have user icons. Interestingly, Pokemon will have designs for the first time. Even ARMS will have a set available even though there hasn’t been any news about the IP returning on the upcoming console.

More icons will likely be available through the Nintendo Switch Online app. With Switch 1, members can spend My Nintendo Platinum Points to obtain extra designs outside of the ones immediately available on the system itself.
