Lynked: Banner of the Spark out on Nintendo Switch 2, Switch today
Lynked: Banner of the Spark has just been announced for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. Additionally, the game launches today.
Lynked: Banner of the Spark is a lighthearted action RPG. The Nintendo Switch 2 version supports GameShare and Joy-Con Mode, with the latter supporting mouse controls.
Here’s some additional information:
Optimized for Nintendo Switch 2, Lynked is compatible with GameShare via GameChat, which enables up to two friends to join the host’s adventure as Buddy, a member of the Unibot resistance. Joy-Con™ Mode is also compatible with Lynked for Nintendo Switch 2, offering players the option to use the Joy-Con 2 controllers as a mouse. Those who purchase Lynked on either platform can enjoy Big and Small Head Mode, where character proportions are adjusted for a quirky twist on traditional gameplay, as well as an exclusive cosmetic to customize their character.
Lynked is a colorful action RPG in which players team up with each other and with robot allies to face down the Combot threat. After testing their mettle against waves of menacing enemies in solo or co-op missions, players return home to build a bright new world alongside their band of rescued robots, crafting a thriving town with the resources they’ve collected—and increasing their power for the next adventure.
FuzzyBot’s Max Spielberg said today: “Bringing the magic of Lynked to Nintendo Switch means players can take our bright world, expressive characters, and co-op adventures with them anywhere. The Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch features not only enhance the fun, but also integrate the spirit of Nintendo’s interactive and community-focused philosophy into Lynked, making it a must-have game for any Nintendo fan.”
Dreamhaven’s Mike Morhaime added: “As long-time Nintendo fans, it’s incredibly exciting to bring Lynked to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. The way Lynked combines action and town building makes it a perfect match with the platform, and we’re looking forward to welcoming new communities of players into the experience.”
