Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC to hold regular in-game events

Nintendo has just announced that Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC will begin hosting regular in-game events. The first of which titled “Chip Fever” will start on October 28, 2025, and will last until November 4.

These events will allow you to play a special version of Emerald Rush on designated stages, under certain conditions. If you get a high enough score, you can get limited edition character statues which are exclusive to said event.

1st event “Chip Fever”

The stage used for this event is DK Island , Donkey Kong’s hometown

As the event name “Chip Fever” suggests, all sorts of emerald powers related to chips will appear, such as the “Chip Collector ,” which makes it easier to earn emeralds depending on the number of chips you have , and the “Magic Wallet , ” which increases the number of chips you can have by 1.5 times.

Please enjoy the emerald rush that is a little different from usual!

 

Achieve a high score and get a limited edition figure

Depending on your score in Emerald Rush, you can get character figures that are only available at this event . The figures you can get this time are Kong Bananza and Enguard, familiar characters from the “Super Donkey Kong” series .

Since there are no random elements in the event, the more you play, the easier it will be to aim for a high score. Don’t give up, try again and again!

A second event has also been mentioned for later in 2025. There isn’t any information on it yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
