Sword of the Necromancer Collection Nintendo Switch physical release announced

Tesura Games and Grimorio of Games are working together on new Sword of the Necromancer Collection Nintendo Switch physical release, the two sides announced today. It’ll be out on February 27, 2026.

Sword of the Necromancer Collection includes Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection, the original Sword of the Necromancer, and Whispike Survivors. A special edition is planned that features a special box, soundtrack music selection, trading cards set, sticker sheet, and art book as bonuses.

Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection

Resurrection is a 3D remake of the original ARPG, featuring revamped graphics, dynamic combat, and a tactical summoning system. Turn your foes into allies and dive into an adventure full of strategy and action, inspired by the classics of the 6th gen of consoles.

Join Tama, a former bandit turned bodyguard, as she fights to bring her beloved Koko back to life. Armed with the forbidden power of the Sword of the Necromancer, Tama must descend into a dungeon filled with dangers and mysteries, facing deadly foes and difficult decisions.

The original Sword of the Necromancer

The original game is a dungeon-crawler action 2D RPG with Rogue-like elements, where you can revive your defeated enemies to make them fight alongside you.

Gather a little army of monsters, equip yourself with weapons and relics and level up to take on the guardians that stand between you and your objective.

Whispike Survivors

Whispike Survivors blends two trendy game genres: horde survivor and farm simulator
